100-Day Office Reform Campaign: Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Tops at Divisional Level; Latur Leads at District Level

Mumbai, May 23: Under the 100-day special office reform campaign initiated as part of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s vision, the results of the statewide competition among divisional and district-level government offices have been announced. The Directorate General of Information and Public Relations’ Director (Information) Office at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has secured the first position at the divisional level, while the District Information Office in Latur has claimed the top spot at the district level.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis declared the results of this initiative, which evaluated the performance of 40 divisional-level offices and 42 district-level offices across all revenue departments in Maharashtra. The assessment was based on ten key parameters, including website improvement, office infrastructure, cleanliness, grievance redressal, ease of living, promotion of investment, and the use of technology.

The Chief Minister extended congratulations to all regional officers for their exceptional contributions under these parameters and encouraged them to continue their efforts toward excellence.

Principal Secretary and Director General of the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations, Brijesh Singh, also congratulated all office heads for their outstanding performance across the evaluated criteria.

At the divisional level, the Director (Information) Office in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar ranked first, followed by the Deputy Director (Information) Office in Amravati in second place, and the Director (Information) Office in Nagpur in third.

At the district level, the Latur District Information Office took first place, followed by Kolhapur in second, and the district offices of Satara and Parbhani shared the third position.

The campaign stands as a significant step toward administrative modernization, aiming to enhance citizen-centric governance and operational efficiency across the state.
