To support the education of hearing-impaired children in Raigad district and the Konkan region, the Government has established a dedicated institution—the Government School for the Hearing Impaired at Vidyanagar, Alibag.
This school offers free education from Std. 1 to Std. 4 for hearing-impaired boys and girls aged between 6 and 16 years. Parents of eligible children are urged to contact the Superintendent of the Government School for the Hearing Impaired, Alibag, Raigad District for enrollment, appealed Dr. Shyamrao Kadam, District Social Welfare Officer, Raigad Zilla Parishad.
The school provides a residential facility for students, including free meals, notebooks, textbooks, and essential educational materials, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
