– “Yoga Must Reach Every Corner of Society,” Says Women & Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare
Highlighting India’s rich contribution to global well-being through yoga, Maharashtra’s Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare emphasized the need to integrate this invaluable practice into every individual’s life. She was speaking at a grand yoga session held in Mangaon on the occasion of International Yoga Day.
The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and the School Education and Sports Department, Government of Maharashtra, along with Mangaon Taluka Administration, Taluka Sports Officer, and Manoyog Mandir, Mangaon. Minister Tatkare actively participated in the session and performed yoga alongside attendees. Sub-Divisional Officer Sandipan Sanap was also present.
“Yoga is one of the finest tools to purify both body and mind. Regular practice brings about a positive transformation in lifestyle, enhances mental energy, and fosters a constructive outlook on life,” said Minister Tatkare during her address. She further urged collective efforts to make yoga a part of everyday life for people across all regions.
Participants engaged in group demonstrations of various yoga asanas and experienced the benefits of yogic practice first-hand.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Mangaon taluka officials, police personnel, teachers, Anganwadi workers, journalists, and a large number of students.
