Call for Applications from Landowners Willing to Sell Land Under the Empowerment and Dignity Scheme for Landless Tribal Families

Raigad District Information Office, May 14 – As part of the “Empowerment and Dignity Scheme for Landless Below Poverty Line (BPL) Tribal Families,” the state government proposes to allocate 4 acres of dry (rainfed) land or 2 acres of irrigated land to eligible landless tribal families living below the poverty line.

In accordance with this initiative and the relevant government resolution, landowners interested in selling their agricultural land under this scheme are requested to submit the following documents:

  • Application in the prescribed format from the landowner
  • Certificate from the local Talathi confirming that the land is free from any encumbrances or loans
  • 7/12 extract of the land
  • No Dues Certificate from the local Primary Agricultural Credit Co-operative Society
  • Measurement report and map from the land survey department confirming the accuracy of the proposed sale area
  • Declaration by the seller acknowledging that the District Committee is not obligated to purchase the proposed land
  • Affidavit stating that the seller will not claim any compensation due to the land sale, and that the land is not involved in any legal dispute or under mortgage
  • No-objection certificate (NOC) for the sale signed by two additional family members (e.g., siblings, spouse, children), along with their signatures on the application

Landowners interested in selling their land must submit a complete proposal with all necessary documents to the office of the Project Officer, Integrated Tribal Development Project, Pen, located at Royal Grandier Building, 1st Floor, Ramwadi, Pen, District Raigad, by June 30, 2025, during office hours.

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Remembered on Birth Anniversary at District Collectorate

Raigad District Information Office, May 14 – On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, revered as the protector of Swarajya and a defender of dharma, Deputy Collector Ravindra Shelke paid floral tribute to the warrior king’s portrait at the District Collectorate.

The ceremony was attended by District Information Officer Smt. Manisha Pingle, Tehsildar Dr. Sheetal Rasal, and several other staff members of the District Collector’s office, who also offered floral tributes in honor of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj’s legacy.
