The Ibji family from Majgaon in Ratnagiri district has made the entire Konkan region proud by achieving two remarkable academic milestones within the family. Dr. Aamna Abdul Majeed Ibji has successfully earned her MBBS degree from MGM Medical College, Mumbai, becoming the first female doctor in the Ibji family. Meanwhile, her brother, Adil Abdul Majeed Ibji, has completed his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in International Business Management with Finance from the prestigious Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, proving his academic excellence on an international stage.

Dr. Aamna Abdul Majeed Ibji completed her medical education at MGM Medical College, Mumbai. Her historic achievement has brought immense joy to the residents of Majgaon and the entire Ratnagiri district, with congratulations pouring in from social, educational, and public organizations.

Dr. Aamna credited her success to the unwavering support and guidance of her father, Abdul Majeed Ibji, her mother, Qaiser Begum, and her aunt, Fareeda Hakim. She dedicated her MBBS degree to the memory of her late grandfather, Mahmood Ibji, and late grandmother, Chand Bi Ibji, paying heartfelt tribute to their inspiration and blessings.

Upon her return to Majgaon, she received a grand welcome from villagers and well-wishers. Among those present were Gram Panchayat Administrator Faiyaz Mokadam, former Deputy Sarpanch Sharif Ibji, social worker Ejaz Ibji, former Extension Officer Saleem Ibji, Mukhtar Ibji, industrialist Kamal Ibji, award-winning teacher Asif Ibji, Dr. Abdullah Ibji, Dr. Khadija Ibji, Nana Dawood Hamdule, along with relatives, friends, and several prominent residents of the village who wished her continued success.

Another proud achiever from the Ibji family, Adil Abdul Majeed Ibji, has earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in International Business Management with Finance from the renowned Heriot-Watt University, Scotland. He was awarded the degree during the university's Convocation Ceremony held on 5 July 2026.

Adil specialized in International Business Management, Financial Management, Economic Analysis, and Corporate Strategy. He completed his early education in Qatar before pursuing higher education in Scotland. According to sources, he is expected to begin his professional career with a leading multinational company in the near future.

Speaking on the occasion, Adil said that studying at an international university had always been his dream, which became a reality through the prayers of his parents, the guidance of his teachers, and his own dedication and hard work. He also expressed his commitment to using his education and experience for the development of the nation and society.
